Disadvantage of Facebook 

As we know that every things has two sides such as positive and negative sides. Facebook has advantages as well as it has disadvantages. Facebook has turned into an addiction like smoking, drinking and using drugs. Whereas Facebook like an addiction, obviously it has lots of negative impact are academic performance, scams, and ruining professional life.

Academic performance

Nearly 85 percentages students are using Facebook and most of them are spending too much time on social networking site while they need to do assignment. The issue is that most individuals have Facebook or other long range informal communication locales, their messages and may be instant messaging continually running out of sight while they are doing different tasks. According to Larry D. Rosen, Ph.D., professor of psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and technology researcher also says "According to studies, middle school, high school and college students looking at Facebook at least one time during a 15 minute study break made lower grades.  In view of that every Facebook users are busy with their friends in commenting, chatting and posting their status. Most of the users forget how they are wasting their precious time. In this case they are not able to concentrate on their studies. Consequently, Academic performance can low grades due to Facebook. Kirschnera told the Daily Mail that his team studied 219 U.S. university students between ages 19 and 54, and found that Facebook users had a typical grade point average of 3.06, while "non-users" had an average GPA of 3.82. It has shown that Facebook is a massive obstacles to make higher grades. Students should have time management of using Facebook to make great performance on their study.

 Scams

One of the biggest Facebook disadvantage is scams. Scams means that without knowing hackers hacked your Facebook ID though some email or application. Many hackers have similar websites to Facebook and they continuously send email or website to people asking to log on their account. The emails or websites looks 100 percentages Facebook. Once a member logs in using email and password, the account will be stolen by a hacker.

Ruining the professional life

Generally, every people look for job after finishing their study. Once the people apply for a new job and they know that they have possibility to get job. But they don’t know their job can be canceled due to Facebook .Let see look at more explanation, if people apply for a new job and people might have been a high chance to get the job. The chances could be ruined due to Facebook. People put humorous picture in their profile or put wrong information about them. The first site the employer would search on their Facebook because it’s the most popular. When they will find that people put wrong information and put humorous pictures in their profile. Employers may get upset and could result in losing the job character that people applied for.

To sum up, Although Facebook becoming popularity. But for the students need to set up about how long they use Facebook or social media. Students may be separate their time for social networking and study by developing efficient-time management skills. People also need to be consciousness about their profile which not obstacles for getting job due to Facebook.
